Definitive Guide to CP3 (Communication Practice)

cp3 actuarial science

Candidates are introduced to the ability to effectively write technical content for a non-technical audience in this subject. It is based on the notion that actuaries frequently have to write to non-specialists while working in technical and specialized situations. These communications must deliver the necessary information, yet without adding complexity.

The audiences for such communications could include:

  • pension scheme trustees and insurance company non-executive directors.
  • CEOs, CFOs and other senior managers.
  • business managers across business functions such as customer services and marketing.
